China has 99% of the world’s electric buses.  In other words, China’s electric minibus is the number one player in the process of global transportation turning to clean energy.  As the proportion of electric buses in China continues to rise, more and more overseas cities run electric buses made in China. What’s more, people in the industry believe that China will continue to be the trend promoter of global bus electrification.

Electric bus consumes 30 times as much fuel as ordinary cars.  Compared with new energy cars produced by some famous automobile brands, the electric bus has a far-reaching impact on the energy and fuel industry.  For every 1,000 electric buses on the road, 500 barrels of oil are nowhere to be placed every day.

According to research by Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF), as of 2017, there are 386,000 electric buses carrying passengers worldwide.  According to the estimation, there will be 1.2 million electric buses running on the road by 2025. Is about 47% of buses in the world will be electrified.

Exhaust emissions from internal combustion engines are one of the air pollution sources in cities. There are so many cities that spare no effort in promoting electric vehicles.  Replacing diesel-powered buses with electric buses is one of the most effective ways to reduce pollutant emissions. And also to improve urban air quality.

Shenzhen has achieved 100% transformation of the electric bus by the end of 2017.

Shenzhen is also one of the cities with the highest penetration rate of electric taxis in China. At present, there are more than 20,000 pure electric taxis in Shenzhen. Moreover, the electrification rate of cruise taxis has reached 99.06%.

In addition to the benefits of improving urban air, the total cost of ownership of electric bus is lower than that of traditional buses.

Bloomberg New Energy Finance calculated an account. An electric bus is equipped with a 100 kWh battery and the most expensive wireless charging device. It travels about 60,000 kilometers per year. Moreover, its total cost of ownership is equal to that of diesel buses. However, the manufacturing cost of an electric bus is much higher than that of the traditional bus. Only when the mileage increases can the advantages of the low-cost operation of electric buses appear.

A domestic electric bus has been put into use in Nepal, Chile, Egypt, the Philippines, Japan, and other countries.

As the proportion of electric buses in China continues to rise, more and more overseas cities run electric buses made in China. Moreover, people in the industry believe that China will continue to be the trend promoter of global bus electrification.

Hope our electric minibus with high quality will serve more and more countries and regions in the future.
