In August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles, including commercial minivan were 229,000 and 247,000. Down 27.5% and 20.9% month-on-month. Down 46.2% and 42.8% year-on-year respectively. Compared with the same period in 2019, production and sales for commercial vehicles fell by 23.1% and 19% year-on-year. And the growth rate has turned from positive to negative compared to July. From January to August, the production and sales of commercial vehicles, including commercial minivan were 3.275 million and 3.444 million respectively, up by 0.6% and 5.5% year on year. Compared with the same period in 2019, the production and sales of commercial vehicles increased by 20% and 23.8% year-on-year, and the growth rate dropped by 5.2 percentage points from January to July.
2. Light passengers continue to maintain rapid growth.
From the situation of passenger and freight subdivision models, among the trucks, all four types of vehicles showed a decline, among which heavy trucks showed the largest decline. Among buses, large and medium-sized buses showed a decline, while light buses, including commercial minivan maintained rapid growth, which drove buses to continue to grow.
